Steven Carlson, D.D.S.
DENTISTDr. Steven Carlson grew up in St. Joseph, MN. In 2010, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Carlson graduated with honors of high distinction and received an award for recognition of Outstanding Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics. Additionally, he completed comprehensive dental implant training through the University of Minnesota Prosthodontics Honors Course.
Dr. Carlson has a passion to provide the highest standard of care to each and every patient. He has a passion for learning and continues to further his education taking courses highlighting the latest dental technologies and techniques. Dr. Carlson is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When Dr. Carlson is not treating his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kayla, his two kids, and his dog Frankie. His hobbies include mountain biking, golfing, fishing, and being in the outdoors. Dr. Carlson is found on a regular basis sharing stories with his patients.
Eric Christenson, D.D.S.
DENTISTDr. Eric Christenson has always had a passion for dentistry. He was born and raised in Rochester, MN. His passion for dentistry began at a young age when he got his braces put on in the 6th grade. From there, his desire to become a dentist continued to grow as he volunteered at a Good Samaritan Dental Clinic throughout high school and college. Dr. Christenson completed his undergrad degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science. After his undergrad, he returned home to Minnesota, where he received the high honors of Magna Cum Lade at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Throughout his years of education, Dr. Christenson developed his meticulous attention to detail, and strong artistic abilities which allow him to truly enhance a smile and deliver quality care to his patients.
Dr. Christenson loves working in Central Minnesota. Through numerous continuing education courses in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, esthetic dentistry, and implant dentistry, Dr. Christenson has been able to expand the scope of his practice. This has allowed him to deliver a wide range of care to patients with different needs.
When not working, Dr. Christenson enjoys spending time with his wife, Carissa, and two daughters, Caroline and Kinsley. They love spending time with their family and friends on the lake during the summer. Dr. Christenson enjoys golf, fishing, and is a passionate Minnesota Vikings and Wisconsin badgers fan.

Abbey
RDHAbbey graduated as a Dental Hygienist from St. Cloud Technical and Community College in 2012. She lives in St. Augusta with her husband and two children. Abbey enjoys being outdoors, going to their cabin and spending time with family.
Stacy
RDHStacy was born and raised in Albany, MN. She graduated from Central Lakes College in 2006 with a degree in Dental Assisting. She then went on to get her Dental Hygiene degree from Century College in 2010. She loves getting to know her patients. Stacy and her husband AJ live in Albany with their two dogs. She enjoys traveling, concerts, everything Christmas, and spending time with family and friends.
MaKenna
RDHMaKenna is from Grey Eagle. She moved to Holdingford after meeting the love of her life John. John and MaKenna love doing things outdoors. MaKenna enjoys deer hunting, lounging in her hot tub, and traveling. MaKenna goes to Mexico almost every year. MaKenna also takes care of thousands of chickens in her free time. MaKenna is as kind as sweet as they come. She loves being a hygienist and getting to meet so many awesome people.
Tina
RDHTina grew up in Eden Valley. She has more friends than a person can count. Growing up she worked at a meat market. She loves getting out on the lake, going to Eden Valley sporting events, and last but not least riding around in her gorgeous car. Tina takes great pride in what she does. She especially enjoys educating patients. It makes her happy to see patients improving more and more every visit.
Sherry
BookkeeperSherry is a proud Mother of two wonderful men Bryant and Kyle. In addition to her two wonderful children Sherry has six grand kids. Sherry and company are huge Gopher hockey fans. Before working at Medical Arts Dental Sherry spent a lot of time at the Humane Society doing good for animals. Sherry is our bookkeeper who has enjoyed working at Medical Arts Dental for over 5 years.
Ashley
LDAAshley is originally from Mayhew Lake, MN. She graduated from the St. Cloud Technical College with her degree in Dental Assisting in 2009 and has been working as an assistant ever since. Ashley, her husband Paul, and her three children live in the Sauk Rapids area. Ashley enjoys deer hunting, duck hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with her family and friends. Ashley is very energetic, always the life of the party!
Ali
LDAAlison went to Saint Cloud Tech where she got her degree as an assistant. Her and fiancé Steven have 4 young kiddos that keep them super busy. When she isn’t assisting she loves working out, gardening, cooking, and fishing. Alison is from Saint Cloud and loves helping everyone in the clinic. She is a great team player!
Tina
LDATina graduated as a Licensed Dental Assistant in 2010 from Central Lake College in Brainerd, MN. She has experience in Pediatric Dentistry as well as General Dentistry. Tina and her husband, Kenny, have 2 wonderful children. In her free time, Tina enjoys spending time on her farm and also with her family and friends.
Tina comes from a large family and has many sisters. When Tina vacations she prefers to go to her family’s cabin in Michigan. Much of Tina’s workday is spent with Dr. Eric as his main chairside assistant. For this Dr. Eric counts her as very lucky.
Ryan
Office ManagerRyan was raised in Colorado and went to school at Concordia in St. Paul. Ryan enjoys golfing, soccer, softball, and various other outdoor activities.
Ryan is married to Alex and they enjoy their animated two young boys and baby girl. Ryan loves to cook, work out, and play fantasy football.
Stephanie
Patient CoordinatorStephanie currently lives with her boyfriend, Christian, and their fur baby, Roxie. Roxie is a German Shepherd/Lab mix and is full of energy. Stephanie also enjoys spending time with friends and family. When she is not chasing after Roxie or spending time with loved ones she likes to travel. Stephanie and Christian have traveled to many different states, but she would love to leave the country one day. She also loves Starbucks, Chick Fil A and reading a good book.
Jane
Patient CoordinatorJane lives in Sartell with her husband of 19 years and their two children Kaleigh and Nathanial. They enjoy spending their free time outside camping, fishing, hiking, and cutting wood. She enjoys gardening and landscaping and challenges her canning/preserving food skills. Jane also enjoys their pets three fur babies Dozer, Peppy, and Boots (black lab, shih tzu bichon, and cat) and two beta fish. She grew up with 11 siblings in the small town of North Prairie, MN on a dairy farm.
