Dental Exam and Cleaning

Keep your smile healthy with regular dental check-ups, x-rays, fluoride and cleanings.

Extractions

Unfortunately, teeth are sometimes so damaged that the only option is to remove them. Our team of doctors can take out most teeth in office, eliminating the need to go to another office to see a specialist. During an extraction the crown and root of the tooth are removed. If you do need an extraction or have other missing teeth, our office offers many replacement options, including single tooth implants and implant-retained dentures.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Whether you’re looking for professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneers or straighter teeth, come in for a smile evaluation. We can help you achieve your best smile!

Fillings and Crowns

eep your teeth healthy and cavity-free by getting the fillings and crowns (caps) you need for a long-lasting and healthy smile.

Root Canals

A large cavity, a cracked tooth, or trauma to a tooth can cause the nerve inside to be irreversibly damaged. Nerve damage often causes severe pain in the tooth and surrounding gums. If this nerve damage is left untreated, the nerve will eventually die. After the nerve dies, an infection will often develop inside the tooth and around the root of the tooth. This infection can lead to severe pain, pus drainage, and life-threatening swelling. A root canal is a procedure that removes the damaged nerve and fills in the space where it used to be with a synthetic material called gutta percha. Local anesthetic is used and root canals often feel very similar to having a filling done. Most patients have almost immediate pain reduction after the completion of root canal treatment. Root canal treatment also allows you to save your real tooth instead or taking it out and replacing it with either an implant, bridge, or partial denture.

Pediatric Dentistry

We happily see children of all ages! The American Dental Association recommends that a child’s first dental visit to be no later than 12 months of age. We strive to make your child’s appointments as easy for them as possible. The sooner you bring your child to the dentist, the more comfortable he or she will feel in the dental environment as they get older.

Tooth Replacements

Are you missing one or several teeth? We can replace missing teeth with implants, bridges or dentures. Schedule an appointment today to discuss your replacement options!

Periodontal Therapy

Periodontal disease is an infection around the tooth. Periodontal disease is treated with scaling and root planing, which is a cleaning below the gum line. This cleaning focuses on the infected pockets to remove plaque and tarter. After scaling and root planing, our state-of-the-art laser is used to further decontaminate the gum pockets, removing bacteria and assisting with healing. In some cases, we may also prescribe local antibiotics that can be placed directly in the infected pockets to help fight bacteria in the area for a longer period of time and aid in disease reduction.

Composite

Composite refers to the resin material used and is the same material used in fillings. Our Doctor uses the filling material to alter shape, contour, and color of the tooth. At the beginning of the appointment, the patient is given a local anesthetic. Unlike Crowns and Veneers, Composite Bonding typically can be done in one appointment. The appointment can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on how many teeth are bonded and may need to be redone or touched up in a few years. It is very important for patients who have had Composite Bonding to come in for their regular cleanings and checkups. The material may not keep its luster and shine due to normal wear and tear and are often replaced multiple times in one’s lifetime. If not properly maintained the Composite Bonding can fail quicker.

Emergency Treatment

Our dental team strives to make same-day emergency exams a priority. We make every effort to ensure that you are seen for an exam and consultation the day you call our office with a dental emergency. In many cases, we are also able to perform needed treatment as time allows.
