What’s the difference between a Bridge and a Dental Implant?
Bridges are one of the most common forms of tooth replacement. They’re often the best option to replace multiple teeth at once. Bridges are created by crowning teeth on each side of the missing tooth or teeth and adding replacement teeth. Usually, a Bridge can be added in two dental appointments.
Dental Implants are often the preferred option for tooth replacement because they are more permanent and require less upkeep. The implant process takes a little longer, but they are stable replacements and are worth the wait. First, we remove the damaged tooth and often add bone graft material to create a better foundation for the implant. After the implant is placed, a 3 to 6 month healing period is allowed, then the implant is restored with porcelain.
Medical Arts Dental Offers Botox? Why?
We use Botox in a variety of ways to fight signs of aging and to relax muscles in the face to prevent wrinkles, as well as for treating TMJ issues. As dentists, we have the pleasure of improving our patients’ oral health as well as the outward appearance of their smile. Getting Botox injections is ultimately a procedure that you probably want a doctor to perform in a sterile, professional environment—something you may not find in certain “spa” situations.
